International students who plan to study in Malaysia for an extended period generally require a Student Pass to study legally in the country.

Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) facilitates the Student Pass application process for international students studying at approved institutions in Malaysia.

Process
EMGS Student Pass: 6 Steps

Apply & Receive Your Offer Letter
Apply to Speak Bright. Once accepted, you will receive an offer letter for your Student Pass application.

Submit Your EMGS Application
We will guide you through the documents needed and help with your application to EMGS.

Receive Your eVAL
Once approved, you will receive your electronic Visa Approval Letter (eVAL).

Apply for a Single Entry Visa
Depending on your nationality, you may need a Single Entry Visa (SEV) before travelling to Malaysia. We will let you know if this applies to you.

Arrive & Complete Your Medical Screening
After arriving in Malaysia, complete your medical screening at an EMGS panel clinic within 7 working days.

Student Pass Endorsement
Your passport will be submitted for Student Pass endorsement. Once completed, you are ready to begin your studies at Speak Bright.
